Join CHCI for an Atomic Habits in Action Webinar Series!
Atomic Habits in Action is a reflective and practical webinar series designed to move you beyond inspiration and into sustainable leadership development. Grounded on James Clear's book Atomic Habits, this experience will guide participants from defining who they want to become to building habits and systems that support long-term growth.
Together, these sessions create a powerful journey of personal and professional evolution.
Participants are encouraged to attend all three sessions, as each builds on the last. If you can’t join every session live, recordings will help you stay on track and fully engaged.
More than just a learning experience, this series is an opportunity to reconnect as a CHCI alumni community, supporting one another, sharing insights, and growing together as we evolve.

Dania Castro, CHCI Senior Manager for Alumni Affairs, will facilitate this webinar series. She brings over 15 years of experience in higher education, with a strong background in curriculum design and leadership development. Dania has served as an instructor for leadership courses at the University of South Carolina, Miami Dade College, and The George Washington University.

APRIL 15
IDENTITY-BASED HABITS
This foundational session introduces the core principle that lasting behavior change begins with identity, not outcomes. Participants will clarify the type of person they want to become, design a small identity-based habit aligned with that vision, and leave with a concrete action plan. Emphasis is placed on starting small and building consistency over intensity.
JULY 22
DESIGNING HABITS THAT STICK
This session shifts from motivation to design. Participants review their first action plan, evaluate what worked or didn’t, and learn how to redesign their environment to support behavior change. The focus is on reducing friction, increasing visibility, and strengthening reinforcement through the 4 Laws of Behavior Change.
NOVEMBER 4
FROM HABIT FORMATION TO MASTERY
In this final session, participants explore sustainability, plateaus, and growth. The focus moves from forming habits to refining systems. Participants reflect on their identity evolution, assess compound gains, and determine whether to scale, automate, refine, or release their current habits.
