What are the event dates?

Our CHCI HHM Leadership Conference will take place September 16–17, followed by our 48th Annual Awards Gala on September 18.

Will the event be livestreamed?

No, the event will not be livestreamed, and recordings will not be available post-event. We encourage all interested attendees to register and join us in person to experience the full program.

What is the recommended attire?

For the CHCI HHM Leadership Conference (September 16–17), business or business casual attire is recommended.

For the 48th Annual Awards Gala (September 18), formal attire is required. Black tie is encouraged.

Is the event open to media? Where can I register for media credentials?

Yes, the Leadership Conference and Awards Gala is open to press with prior approval. For more information or inquiries, please contact press@chci.org

How do I modify my registration

If you need to update your registration details, you can do so by clicking the "Modify Registration" link in your confirmation email.

Alternatively, you can also visit the event website Home Page and select "Already Registered?" (below the "Register Now" button on the top-right corner). Log in using your confirmation number, and click the "Modify Registration" button.

What is the refund and cancellation policy?

You may request to cancel your registration for a full refund up to 14 days in advance of the start of the event (September 2, 2025). Cancellations between September 3 and September 12 will be eligible for a refund of 50% of the fee. Cancellation requests made within 72 hours of the event will not receive a refund.

All cancellations and refund requests must be in writing and sent to events@chci.org. Once the request is received, confirmation of the cancellation will be sent together with your refund if necessary.

Are individual attendee tickets transferable?

Yes, if you can no longer attend and wish to transfer your registration to someone else, please email events@chci.org. Please include your name, email, and registration confirmation ID.

Where and when do I pick-up my conference badge onsite?

Leadership Conference badge pickup will be available in the Ronald Regan Building in the Atrium from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 16 and on Wednesday, September 17 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Will there be onsite registration?

Yes, onsite registration for Leadership Conference will be available in the Ronald Regan Building in the Atrium from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 16 and on Wednesday, September 17 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

I can’t locate my registration confirmation email.

Click “Already registered” at the top right corner of your screen next to the ‘Register now’ button. Click the link to have your Confirmation Number resent.

Which entrance should I enter the venues?

Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (Leadership Conference) - There are six major pedestrian entrances to the building. We recommend entering via the 14th Street entrance.

Walter E. Washington Convention Center (Awards Gala) - There are multiple pedestrian entrances to the building. We recommend entering via the L St. entrance.

Will parking be available at the event venues?

Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (Leadership Conference) - Underground parking is available at the Ronald Reagan Building with entrances at both 13 ½ Street and Pennsylvania Avenue located on either side of the building on 14th Street between Constitution Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue for a daily rate of $38. Walter E. Washington Convention Center (Awards Gala) - There are +3,000 parking spaces are located within a three-block radius of the Convention Center including surface lots and garages. There is no public parking at the Convention Center. Click here for more parking WEWCC information.

What security protocols can attendees expect at the Ronald Reagan Building for the Leadership Conference?

As a reminder, the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center is a federal building. All visitors will be directed to pass through security checkpoints. All weapons are prohibited, including firearms carried with a concealed carry license. View full list of prohibited items.

Do you have an event app?

Yes, CHCI’s 2025 Hispanic Heritage Month App will be made available to attendees about a week prior to the event.

I am the Sponsor Contact for my company, what do I need to know?

Once your 2025 CHCI Hispanic Heritage Month sponsorship is confirmed, you will receive a welcome email from your designated CHCI Events team contact. This email will outline your sponsorship deliverables, including attendee registration instructions, key deadlines, and important logistical details.

Who is eligible for press credentials?

CHCI offers press credentials to media professionals who meet entry criteria and agree to the 2025 CHCI media credential policy.

*You must receive and follow up to a confirmation email with registration instructions to be officially credentialed to cover CHCI’s 2025 Hispanic Heritage Month events. *

When am I able to pick up press credentials?

Press & Media professionals will be able to pick up their badge credentials onsite at the check-in and registration desks either at the Leadership Conference (Ronald Reagan Building) or 48th Annual Awards Gala (Washington Convention Center).

*Press badge must always be worn and kept visible within event spaces.*

What are CHCI’s Press & Media Policies?

Media credentials are available to reporters, editors working as reporters, producers, video camera operators, and still photographers who present valid press identification. Special requests must be approved in advance by the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI).
Freelance writers covering the event must present a letter of assignment from a publisher, editor, or producer of a news outlet to be considered for a press badge.
If facing space or security constraints, CHCI reserves the right to limit the number of credentialed press on site and/or to make changes to the placement of press in event spaces.
Press may not impede or block the visibility or movement of CHCI guests in event spaces.
Press seeking to interview speakers or Members of Congress must work with the CHCI Communications Department to arrange a meeting.
Media representatives who violate these guidelines for coverage, whether written or oral, will have their CHCI- issued press credentials withdrawn.
Credentials are not available to staff of media advertising, marketing, public relations, or management departments or firms.
